Ryanair launch three new routes

Ryanair launched three new routes from Prestwick Airport this week - to Tenerife, Malaga, and Faro. The new services further strengthen Prestwick’s route network, bringing the total number of scheduled destinations operated by Ryanair to twenty-nine.
Mark Rodwell, Chief Executive of Prestwick Airport, said: ‘These new routes are a beacon of light in an industry facing a number of challenges at the moment. While many airlines are cutting back on services, this shows how committed Ryanair is to its base here at Prestwick.’
‘These new destinations have always been popular with Scottish holidaymakers. Advance sales have been encouraging and we expect that trend to continue throughout winter.’
