Ryanair add flights on existing routes
27.02.10
Ryanair has added extra flights on a number of its sunshine routes from Prestwick Airport. From May this year the low fares airline will add flights to Malaga, Alicante, Palma, Faro and Carcassonne. Malaga will have seven flights a week, Alicante six flights a week, Palma seven flights a week, Faro six flights a week and Carcassonne goes to three flights a week.
New chief executive of the airport Iain Cochrane said: ‘This is excellent news. As well as these welcome extra flights, we also have new Ryanair routes to Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands and Ibiza taking next month, plus summer flights to Jersey and Turkey from other airlines.’ Ryanair now has six aircraft at Prestwick serving 29 routes.
