Seguro strands passengers again

Hundreds of passengers were left stranded yesterday when a holiday firm's only plane failed to take off from Prestwick Airport, the Sunday Mail reports. The holidaymakers were heading to Gran Canaria, but were told the plane operating 13:20 Seguro flight had developed problems and would be grounded for 20 hours.
A passenger told the newspaper: ‘We found out the plane was going to be delayed for a day when we got to the airport. It is a disgusting way to treat customers.’
The passengers were booked into airport hotels overnight ahead of a planned flight this morning. Last year, Seguro suffered a number of problems, including stranding passengers in Gran Canaria for 40 hours without food or money when its plane's navigation system failed.
