Charges against airport protesters dropped

Charges have been dropped against three peace activists who got into Prestwick Airport last year to protest about suspected weapons transportation.
The trio were due to stand trial on Friday (October 19), facing charges of breaching an air navigation order by behaving in an abusive manner at the airport. However the Crown Office said last night that no further proceedings will be taken against them following further consideration of the available evidence.
