Slight increase in passenger in January

Prestwick Airport reported a small increase in the number of passengers travelling through the low-cost air hub last month. The airport's owners, Infratil, reported that 146,586 used the airport in January, compared to 145,492 during the same month in 2006, a rise of 0.75 percent.
Infratil said that the modest increase come after a slight reduction in Ryanair services was offset by new flights from Wizz and Transavia.
