October passengers up 17%

Prestwick Airport handled 17% more passengers in October compared to the same month last year. 177,280 people passed through the terminal, compared with 152,163 in 2009.
A total of 1,181,937 passengers have used the airport during the 7 months to October, up from 1,165,805 for the same period last year. In October freight was 1186 tonnes, up slightly from the 1167 tonnes for the same month in 2009.
