Ryanair to give away flights, holidays and cash today

Low-cost airline Ryanair is to give away free flights, holidays and cash in Glasgow this lunchtime. In order to 'win' the flights, cash and holidays, people need to go to the main entrance of the Buchanan Galleries Shopping Centre on Buchanan Street between 12:30 and 13:30 today carrying 'a poster of any size or description saying why they love Ryanair'.
Airline spokeswoman Caroline Baldwin said: 'No ifs, no buts - free cash, free flights and free holidays from Ryanair. No-one with a poster leaves empty-handed.' She added that the prizes will be handed out by 'a lovely leggy leprechaun'.
A similar stunt in Spain last year left the airline embarrassed after hundreds more people turned up than the airline had expected. At one point Ryanair staff needed police protection and resorted to issuing free flight vouchers on pieces of paper.
