Airport car park to close again this winter

Watson’s Ayr Park, the Prestwick Airport car park, will close during the winter months again this year. The popular low cost airport car park will close on the October 31 and reopen April 1 next year. This is a slightly longer period that last winter, when the car park blamed falling passenger numbers and lack of demand over the winter for the closure.
Customers who have already booked to stay in the 400 space airport car park over the winter months are being contacted and offered an upgrade to Car Park 3 at Prestwick Airport at no extra cost. This car park is within walking distance of the terminal, unlike Watson's.
