New Ryanair routes take off

Prestwick Airport saw the start of six new Ryanair routes this week. They included three new flights - to Ibiza, Fuerteventura and Carcassonne - plus the return of the summer only flights Pisa, Rome and Budapest.
Ryanair now has six planes based at Prestwick serving a total of twenty-nine destinations that range from Sweden in the north to the Canary Islands in the south, and from Londonderry in the west to Hungary in the east. Ryanair’s Maria Macken said: ‘We are delighted to welcome passengers on board our new flights from Prestwick. Whether it’s clubbing in Ibiza, relaxing over a pleasant glass of French wine in Carcassonne or soaking up the sun in Fuerteventura, Ryanair has it covered.’
